Terms of Service
Plain-language summary: Club Israel is a monthly subscription delivering authentic Israeli artifacts. You are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel anytime. All shipped artifacts are final sale. We source everything from Israel and stand behind authenticity.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting club-israel.com, creating a member account, or subscribing to Club Israel, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the site or service.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Club Israel, operated by Sam Besser (“Club Israel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Jerusalem, Israel.
2. The Service
Club Israel is a monthly subscription service that delivers authentic, hand-curated artifacts from the Land of Israel to members worldwide. Each shipment includes one or more genuine artifacts — coins, stamps, IDF insignia, maps, prints, or similar items — along with a printed historical story card.
The specific artifact delivered each month is selected by Club Israel based on your chosen interest categories and tier. Exact items are not pre-specified and may vary.
3. Subscriptions & Tiers
Club Israel offers four subscription tiers:
- Chaver — $18/month or $180/year. 1 pocket or scrapbook-size artifact.
- Aliyah — $54/month or $540/year. 3 items or 1 tabletop display.
- Melech — $99/month or $990/year. 5 items or 1 wall display.
- Sabra — $180/month or $1,800/year. 8–12 items or a gallery display from any of 12 categories monthly.
Annual subscriptions provide two months of service free compared to monthly billing and are billed once upfront.
Your first shipment includes a complimentary collector’s binder. This is a one-time benefit for new members.
Club Israel reserves the right to adjust tier contents, pricing, or structure with 30 days’ notice to active members.
4. Billing & Payment
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Club Israel does not store your card information on its servers.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on your billing date each month. Annual subscriptions renew automatically on your annual renewal date. If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again; if unsuccessful, your subscription may be paused or cancelled.
All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes may be added depending on your delivery location.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
Monthly subscribers
You may cancel at any time from your member portal or by emailing sam@club-israel.com. Cancellations processed before your monthly billing date take effect immediately — you will not be charged for the following month. Cancellations after your billing date take effect at the end of the current period.
Annual subscribers
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. If cancelled within 30 days of the annual renewal date with no shipments yet sent for the new year, a full refund will be issued. After shipments have begun, no refund is provided for remaining months.
Shipped artifacts
All delivered artifacts are final sale. We do not accept returns. If your shipment arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us within 14 days and we will make it right.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Club Israel currently ships to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Availability may change.
Artifacts are packaged in Israel, shipped in bulk to our US fulfillment center in the first week of each month, and mailed individually in the second week. Estimated delivery is by the 20th of each month; we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Risk of loss passes to you upon handoff to the postal carrier.
Club Israel is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or circumstances beyond our control. If a package is returned as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment; reshipment fees may apply.
7. Artifacts & Authenticity
Club Israel is committed to genuine, authentic artifacts, personally sourced by Sam Besser from Israeli vendors, collectors, families, and artisans. Where a category explicitly offers reproduction prints or replicas (such as Archaeological Replicas), this is clearly disclosed in the category description. All other artifacts are originals.
Club Israel reserves the right to substitute an artifact of equal or greater value if the selected item becomes unavailable after your billing date. The investment or collector value of artifacts is not guaranteed.
8. Member Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information including name, email, and shipping address. Club Israel may terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use Club Israel to:
- Resell received artifacts as part of a competing subscription service without written permission.
- Submit false information, fraudulent orders, or unwarranted chargebacks.
- Attempt to access other members’ accounts or data.
- Use automated tools to scrape or copy content from club-israel.com.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on club-israel.com — including text, photography, design, and the Club Israel name and logo — is the property of Club Israel or used with permission. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission. Historical images sourced from Wikimedia Commons are used under their respective Creative Commons or public domain licenses.
11. Disclaimers
The Club Israel service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted service, the absence of errors, or the fitness of artifacts for any particular purpose beyond their description. Club Israel is not responsible for damage to artifacts caused after delivery.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Club Israel’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the total amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. Club Israel is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members via email at least 14 days before taking effect. The current version is always available at club-israel.com/terms.html.
